Annual Financial Stewardship Pledge Campaign
You are what makes St. Bridget the great parish it is. We depend on your "full, active, conscious participation" in our liturgy, in our parish programs and ministries, and in financially supporting St. Bridget parish. A Financial Stewardship Pledge Campaign take place every year in the fall. Every parishioner is asked to make a financial commitment to the parish.

Offering Envelopes
Envelope Packets are sent to your home every other month. Your envelope packet includes weekly contribution envelopes and envelopes for special collections that are taken in every Catholic church across the country. Envelopes for special parish funds are also in the packet. Regular use of contribution envelopes makes for more accurate statements, especially for tax purposes.

Statements of Contribution
Statements of Contribution are sent quarterly. Your member I.D. Number is indicated on your envelopes and is used to credit your contributions on our computerized accounting system.

Gift of Appreciated Securities
Gifts of appreciated securities are always welcome. Please check with your tax advisors to determine if a gift of appreciated securities is appropriate. The securities should be delivered to your broker with instructions to transfer them to St. Bridget Church. You must be sure to avoid telling the broker to sell the securities. Contact Kimberly Lapkin in the parish center office to advise her of the gift. she will follow up with the broker. Year end statements of contribution will describe the securities, and state the market value on the date of the gift.

Parish Finance Council
This Council assists the pastor in the management of all parish finances. Following the priorities set by the Pastoral Council, the Finance Council works with the church staff and committees to set the budget and monitor its implementation.

Parish Endowment Funds
These funds include the St. Bridget Church Endowmwnt Fund and the Sister Louis Siegfreid Endowment Fund For St. Bridget's School. The Endowment Funds are restricted funds which have grown through a steady flow of contributions, bequests, and investment earnings. The principal cannot be expended. The Endowment Funds provide a new and additional source of income for special needs or undertakings beyond those included in the customary parish operational budget. The Endowment Funds are managed by the pastor and a Board of four parishioners nominated by the Parish Finance Council and appointed by the Bishop.
If you would like to speak with someone about a gift of securities, a major gift of cash or property, gifts with retained life income, or estate planning, call Kimberly Lapkin in the parish center office. Please remember St. Bridget's in your will.

Parish Capital Reserve Funds
In an ongoing effort to insure the future of our buildings, grounds, and furnishings, St. Bridget Church and St. Bridget School maintain separate Capital Reserve Funds. These funds grow through annual contributions from the operating budget and investment earnings. The Parish Finance Council manages the funds and the Council must approve all expenditures from these funds.
