Children’s Liturgy at Saint Bridget Church— A Vibrant Ministry
Each Sunday morning, the children of Saint Bridget Church are invited to participate in our Children’s Liturgy program. Faithfully led by Anne Cornett, Kelly Armstrong, & many other dedicated volunteers, children from 4 to 7 years of age can participate in the Liturgy of the Word in a sacred & child-friendly atmosphere. During the school year, Children’s Liturgy is offered at both the 9 o’clock and 11:00 Masses. Separated into groups by age, the children are called to listen to the weekly readings & actively participate in breaking open the word of God.

No registration is necessary. Any children attending Mass are welcome to join the group as they gather at the altar for a blessing before going to Church Hall. Adult volunteers are needed to help teach the lessons. If you have one Sunday morning each month to give to this ministry, please contact Anne Cornett. All resources are supplied & training is available as well. Please feel free to contact Teresa Lee, the Director of Religious Education, if you need any more information.

Music Ministry provides Mass cantors & offers choirs for all age groups in the parish.

Ushers welcome visitors & parishioners to Mass, distribute worship sheets & bulletins, take up collections, direct seating & register new parishioners after Mass. Anyone may be an usher. Ushering provides an opportunity for families to serve together.

Sacristans set up for each liturgy & care for all vessels used during liturgies. Sacristans must have Eucharistic Minister training.

Altar Servers assist priests during Masses & other liturgies. Girls & boys that are second semester fifth graders & older may be altar Servers.
